This jewelry-making venture of mine was sparked by my passion for all things glass. My background in studio arts led me to work in a stained glass studio where, for 5 years I had the privilege of restoring old church windows along with creating custom pieces for clients.
From there, I went on to learn the art of lampworking, (sculpting glass beads over a gas fueled torch). As for my current adventures, I am exploring traditional glass blowing and silversmithing to expand my craft.
I am mostly self-taught in the techniques of wire-working and jewley making, but have continued to expand my expertise through conventions and classes. I prefer to only use quality cut glass beads, semi-precious stones, Swarovski crystals, and genuine cultured pearls for their sparkle and luster.
My weekend hobby snow-balled out of control once my friends and family started passing my "art" around. I've also made custom jewelry for brides and their bridesmaids for their special day.
I now spend as much time as I can creating pieces that are fun and funky, sleek and elegant, or artistically intricate. Inspiration can be found anywhere and I love creating new designs that satisfy my passion and yours!
